The Meizu MX6 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 403 PPI. Meizu turned to the MediaTek MT6797 Helio X20 deca-core processor, with two cores clocked at 2.3GHz, a quad-core clocked at 1.9GHz, and a quad-core clocked at 1.4GHz. It uses a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU for graphics and packs 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 32GB of non-expandable memory. The MX6 uses an excellent processor and GPU, but it is such a shame that there are no other memory options available.
For its primary camera, the MX6 uses a 12MP sensor along with a f2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and a dual-tone LED flash. In our review, overall it took great photos. It uses a 5MP FFC with the same f2.0 aperture for selfies and video chatting. A decent sized 3060mAh battery with rapid charge capabilities supplies the power.
One thing to remember about the Meizu MX6 – this device is not built for the US market, but will run on 3G on either AT&T or T-Mobile. The MX6 comes running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with Meizu’s Flyme UI on top. The MX6 measures 153.6 x 75.2 x 7.3mm and weighs in at 155 grams. There is no NFC, so you will not be able to use the MX6 for mobile payments of any sort. Available colors are Gray, Silver, Champagne Gold, and Rose Gold, and it will cost you about $350.

I know that the Google Pixel XL costs twice as much as the Meizu MX6, but it does have the better specifications. It has a better display, a better processor, and GPU, more RAM and you can buy 128GB model if you want. It has a much better camera area – primary and FFC. Xiaomi Mi 5c budget phone to launch on December 12, with NFC support and HD display

Xiaomi is all set to launch a new device in China. The smartphone which has been in rumours since long is now set to be launched on December 12th. Though there are no official invites yet and the date is mere speculation, the timeline might be true. The smartphone is just another budget device which will be aimed at the budget conscious consumer and there won’t really be any changes or great specifications in the device. But the Xiaomi Meri, as it is code-named and Xiaomi Mi 5c as it is expected to be called with come with one huge surprise. It is something that Xiaomi has long since been rumoured to do and it will finally complete the transition of Xiaomi from a mere smartphone maker to one creator. Xiaomi will be following the footsteps of it’s Android competitors with this step.
But then, what exactly is this huge announcement that Xiaomi is expected to make with Xiaomi Mi 5c? Well, apparently, Xiaomi Mi 5c will launch with the very first and the very new Xiaomi’s very own inhouse processor! Xiaomi is expected to launch their own processor which will power most Xiaomi smartphones henceforth. The new processor will be called Pine Cone processor according to reports. Pine Cone processor will replace the current processors in Xiaomi and also reduce the hassle of out-scouring processors.  Other smartphone brands like Samsung have alread AND-403y created their smartphone processor like the Exynos processor which powers most of its devices. While Samsung intermittently uses both, Exynos and Snapdragon for their devices, it is still unclear whether Xiaomi will stick to just one processor that is the Pine Cone processor or alternate with other processors.

Coming to the features and specifications of Xiaomi Mi 5c, there is not everything known. Although most of the features are leaked, there are still a few that are elusive. First things first, the smartphone being a completely budget device is expected to launch with Android Marshmallow, not Android Nougat. There might not be an Android Nougat upgrade coming to the device. Under the hood will be a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor. If the news of Pine Cone is true, then the first ever Pine Cone processor will be an octa-core version and clocked at 1.4 Ghz. However, as the news is not confirmed, there’s no clarity on it yet. Xiaomi Mi 5c will also run MIUI 8 skin over Android Marshmallow. The display will be a 5.5 inch Full HD display with a pixel resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and 403 ppi. The RAM will be 3GB. Xiaomi launches Redmi 4, a budget device for the price-conscious buyer!
There’s no word so far on the camera or the internal memory of the device. As the Xiaomi Mi 5c is a budget device, there’s little chance of the smartphone coming in multiple memory variants. There’s no word on the internal memory version so far and also whether there will be an expandable memory card slot. The battery specifics are also unknown. While pictures of the device have leaked, in terms of looks, Xiaomi Mi 5c looks to be an average smartphone. For now, Xiaomi Mi 5c is planned only to launch in China and there is no word on the international launch details. The smartphone will come with NFC support. Xiaomi Mi 5c is a budget device and is expected to be priced at CNY 1,499 or Rs 14,800 in India. The phone will come in 3 colour variants: Black, Gold and Rose Gold. The leaked photos show a flash at the back of the phone, right next to the camera. Well, for now, this is all we know.
